DU Dance

Dance can be experienced through a diversity of cultures and forms, yet is universal. It is a potent tool for the development of both the individual and the community. The profound belief in these propositions, endorsed over many years of experience by respected dance practitioners – Mags Byrne and Royston Maldoom – underpins the work of DU Dance (NI). The company’s high quality performances include both professionals and community members based on inter-generational, cross-community and inter-cultural work.

Based in Ireland and Northern Ireland, touring the world and drinking tea, ponydance are good-looking, funny, charming and now, award-winning. What’s not to like?
